Eric and Michelle give us an update from the lot.

The lot has been cleared. Mike takes us through.

We were searching for MONTHs to find the lot we wanted. It was always something; not a good location, bad soil conditions, not in a neighborhood, priced too high, not big enough, the list goes on and on. Mike and Jeff worked hard for us. Mike was out finding lots all over trying to find us the perfect lot. One day we got a call saying there was a great lot in a location we liked. We decided to head out. It was HOT HOT summer day and we came straight from work (not recommended). We walked a few lots and he showed us the 2 he specked out and felt were the best. One was a really great flat lot and the other was more hilly but great for a walk out basement. We took some time to think about it. We came back the following weekend with my parents. We all agreed we liked the flatter lot.

We called Mike and told him our decision, he was very supportive. He and Jeff then negotiated a FANTASTIC price on the lot for us. This was super convenient because we didn’t have to pay real estate fees and they didn’t mark any of that up in the costs. So we got it exactly for what the offer was accepted at. Win win!
